Friday, June 28, The Art Box Custom Framing presents the first installment of our monthly music series, Final Fridays at the Frame Shop. Final Fridays will be an opportunity to check out some of the most talented up and coming musicians the New England area has to offer.
This Friday we are graced with the talented Gabriella Simpkins. Gabriella is an award-winning singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Cape Cod, MA. Informed by her experiences across genres and performance settings, her music exists at the intersections of folk, classical, jazz, and indie rock.
While simultaneously independently managing her career, Simpkins is currently attending Salem State University in the Bachelor of Arts in Music program and focuses specifically on music theory on classical composition. She performs her singer-songwriter material regularly in the Boston area, teaches applied music theory and songwriting, and hopes to establish herself further as a freelance composer in the coming years.
